The Resurrection of Our Lord

Masks Required: The church has purchased good quality masks if you don't have your own; please exchange your cloth or surgical mask with a KN95 or KF94, available for both adults and children on the table in the narthex, free of charge. We ask that you go outside to change your mask(s). COVID-19 is airborne and highly contagious.
The Collect/Prayer of the Day
O God, for our redemption you gave your only son to suffer death on the cross, and by his glorious resurrection you delivered us from the power of death. Make us die every day to sin that we may live with him forever in the joy of his resurrection; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Isaiah 65:17-25; Psalm 16; 1 Corinthians 15:19-26; Luke 24:1-12
In the Festival Easter service, we experience the promise of new life in Christ to a world that has been in bondage to death. Evil is destroyed and God's victorious rule established. Like the women who went to the tomb with embalming spices expecting to find Jesus' corpse, we encounter an empty tomb. We continue to proclaim the Good News to the world.
