The Choir
MLC has a small choir of dedicated members who sing traditional as well as contemporary church music. We have been as large as fifteen and as small as seven members. We always welcome new members. While it would be helpful if you can read music, count and sing parts, you don't have to be a trained singer or audition to join; you just have to love singing and be dedicated, committed to showing up regularly and on time for rehearsals and worship services. Rehearsal is held on Wednesday evening at 5:00 PM.
We are in need of an accompanist. If you play the piano and have the ability to accompany choral singing, we need you!
The choir takes a long break after Trinity Sunday, which occurs late May to mid-June, depending on the date of Easter, normally resuming rehearsals some-time in late summer or early fall. In 2019 the Feast of the Holy Trinity is June 16, 2019. The choir will be on vacation beginning Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Future plans and dates will be announced in August 2019.
